Which is correct Traveller or travel planner? A simple comparison would be to say that Traveller is a planner. A planner who gives travellers advice on where to go and what to do, when to go there and how to get there. They are the experts and they know their business.

Travelers on the other hand are the experts. They are usually experts at one or two things. Travellers know that they have to take a certain number of transport or transportation links to reach their destination. A travel planner is someone who is taking travellers by the hand and leading them along a particular path.

So which is correct Traveller or travel planner? Travelling by yourself is easy. It is fun and you are in complete control of your route. You decide when to take a rest and when to make a stop. There is no need for a planner because you are doing everything on your own.

But there are some travellers who like to rely upon their own wisdom. They will take a rest when they see they are passing through a rest house. Or they will continue their journey if they hear a train coming. They feel it important to be safe and not forget to take all their necessary links and resources with them.

So Traveller or travel planner would be correct in this sense. It is about confidence. Travelling by yourself is a matter of self-confidence. Travelling with others is about relying upon others to get you from A to B or from B to C.

Travelling in groups is a different matter. You have to think about the security of your link. You must consider who you are travelling with. Do you have the same language? Do you share the same culture?

Travelling in groups can be dangerous, especially in high traffic areas. You have to know what to look for and how to react should something go wrong. It is all part of being a group. And that is what makes it fun.

So, which is correct? Travelling is a fun experience. When you are having one, you almost don’t care which is correct. Except for the odd bit where you are afraid of falling over.

Travelling as a group can be an Adrenalin rush. And you can make it even better if you are in a great group of Travellers. You can make it fun just sitting in the back or corner of the van. Being in a group makes everything easier.

I often like to meet new people when we travel. I love the camaraderie. Travelling in groups, with good friends can be a real boost. You get instant feedback on each other.

You can also share ideas. Some things that Travellers do not get enough time to discuss, are: where to eat? Where to park? How to avoid getting lost? What are the best routes and what are the worst?

Travelling as a group has another advantage: your itinerary will be more planned. Travelling by yourself can be a very spontaneous experience! Sometimes this means you forget to pack something. Or you miss your flights. In a group you will always know where you are going. Which is correct?

To answer the question: which is correct? The correct Traveller or travel planner is the one who is flexible and creative. Who will take the stress out of planning your itinerary? And, who will make sure you are safe and comfortable.

One of the most common reasons for Travelers being late is their itinerary. They are being followed by someone else – often their Own Party. Travelling can be highly complicated, particularly if you have a large group to transport. So it’s best to get help with planning your route – especially from an expert.

As a Traveller you should take responsibility for yourself and your own travel. It’s your business, your life and your itinerary. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you. Make sure you book yourself enough hotel rooms (hotels are not included in your travel insurance) and that you have enough food and drink. Don’t leave anything to chance or be unprepared.

So which is correct? Traveller or travel planner? Travelling is great fun. It’s been made even better by technology in the form of modern gadgets and computers but as with all good things in life, there is a right and a wrong way to do it!
